Client Consent Step
GDPR compliance requires the agent, acting as a data controller, to sign a data processing agreement with any parties that act as data processors on their behalf. Consequently, the agent needs to obtain the customer's agreement for using their personal data further in the flow.
On this step, the solution makes available 4 consent pop-ups, and their role is to help the agent go through the consent procedure without forgetting to mention any important detail.
The following 4 consents are displayed:
-
Data processing - mandatory. This link opens a Data processing pop-up where the user can accept the data processing agreement.
-
Financial advice - mandatory. This link opens a Financial advice pop-up where the user can accept the financial advice agreement.
-
Marketing - optional. When ticking the check box, the user consents to having their contact details kept for the purposes of being sent details regarding other products and services offered by the insurance company, limited that may be relevant to their personal circumstances from time to time.
-
Email notifications - optional. When ticking the check box, the user agrees to the insurance company providing them updates, documentation and notifications by email that relate to the execution of services and for marketing purposes.
Validation: If you click the Next button without ticking the mandatory boxes, the following message is displayed: "Data processing agreement is required" or "Financial advice agreement is required" or both. You have the possibility to change the answer.
After checking the consents, you must click the Next button in order to advance to the Personal Data step.
The Previous button takes you to the Agent Details step, and the data from this step is not saved.
