Quote Admin 24

The new Quote Admin solution effectively handles quotes originating from both internal and external Quote & Bind processes, accessible to the end customer, all within a unified back-office setting. The business workflow includes the quotes registration and management, customer decision processing, insurance underwriting, followed by the issuance of the policy with the new offer. As for Policy Administration, you can manage both single quotes and master quotes.

Quote Admin also acts as a black box in terms of orchestrating pricing and underwriting APIs (in Proposal Configurator), policy and master policy related APIs. It ensures that the offer accepted by the end customer through a quote also persists in the policy issued for that quote.  In short, once a custom quote and bind is linked with Quote Admin, it has seamless automatic links with the Product Factory, Proposal Configurator, and Policy Administration capabilities.

Single Quotes

Quote Admin enables you to securely store and efficiently manage a virtually unlimited number of digital quotes. You can easily generate a quote offer, accept or decline it according to the customer's decision, and subsequently issue the policy with all the details mentioned in the quote offer. Master Quotes

Master quotes can go through the same business workflow as single quotes, the difference being that a master quote contains multiple quote offers. The customer can accept one or more of the offers, and subsequently you can issue the master policy accordingly. Learn about working with master quotes by accessing the Manage Master Quotes page.

APIs

  • The generateMasterQuote API was modified to generate an offer for the master quote, to support fixed tariff, and bypass the underwriting check logic.

  • The Generate Quote and Generate Master Quote APIs were updated so that you can also generate master quotes without quotes. The quotes can now be added to a master quote in the Draft status.

  • We've added the Finalize Master Quote API.

  • Changes were implemented on the renewal flow to send the list of parties when integrating with Quote Admin.
