eSIGN (Electronic Signatures)
Electronic Signature (eSIGN) is a cloud-based service for signing, sending, and managing documents digitally, replacing wet ink signatures and physical document handling. A document owner uploads or generates a document, defines one or more signing parties and their required signature fields, and dispatches signing requests via email or API-triggered workflow.
Each recipient accesses the document through a secure web link or embedded interface and applies their signature using a method appropriate to the required assurance level:
- Simple Electronic Signature (SES): click-to-sign or typed name
- Advanced Electronic Signature (AES): backed by SMS OTP or credential login
- Qualified Electronic Signature (QES): backed by a qualified digital certificate from a Qualified Trust Service Provider
