Policy Administration 3.5.0
November 28th, 2022
The 3.5.0 version of Policy Administration brings the new Suspended status for policies with unpaid installments, and also the option to transition said policies back to the InForce status, through a reinstatement request. With this release, Policy Administration's endpoints are compatible with the OpenAPI v3.0 standard.
This is part of the FintechOS 22.R3 release. Please check the main release notes for more information.
What's New
New Digital Asset Types
With the new release, the digital asset types are structured based on specific data types. For example, there are dedicated digital assets for the journey, and for the libraries and scripts.
Digital assets are exported as sealed, with dependency on the 22.1.4 version of FintechOS Platform, for compatibility reasons. This means that you cannot make any changes to assets on the environment in which they are deployed.
Policy Suspension
With the 3.5.0 version of Policy Administration, policies with unpaid installments automatically transition to the Suspended status. This is a policy state between InForce and Lapsed. Read about the job that triggers the Suspended status by accessing the Flow Parameters and Scheduled Jobs page.
Policy Reinstatement
The policy reinstatement functionality facilitates a policy transition from Suspended back into InForce, after the unpaid installment has been paid, or from Suspended to Canceled/Declined if the Suspension Period expires, and the installment remains unpaid. Read more by accessing the Reinstate a Policy page.
