Billing and Collection 2.0

Billing and Collection v2.0 is compatible with the Core DPA Platform 21.2, which includes Configuration Management. In addition, it has a number of new features and improvements which you can read about below.

What's New

Two New Collection Types

The Billing and Collection v2.0 solution comes with two new collections methods - direct debit and broker collection. The solution includes diverse automation options from invoice generation, payments allocation, managing payment requests coming from different sources or systems, managing outgoing payment allocation, sending instructions for direct debit collection and keeping track of the direct debit mandates activated in the system.

New Generate Outgoing Payments API

This new functionality allows you to add payment requests into the system, in an easy manner.

The Generate Outgoing Payments API is a process layer whose goals are:

• To let the Billing and Collection application act as a receiver for payment requests from different types of systems or sources;

• To take the load of filling-in the outgoing payment details for the users that will process the requests;

• To standardize the outgoing payment communication as much as possible.
