Insurance Sequencers

Sequencers allow you to generate structured alphanumeric identifiers - typically a prefix followed by an incremental number (e.g., invoice numbers or other serial references). For details on defining sequencers, refer to the Studio user guide.

In the Service Insurance solution, a HomePolicy sequencer is preconfigured. This sequencer is used for policies and automatically generates and manages sequential values for home insurance validity.

Accessing the HomePolicy Sequencer

1. In FintechOS Portal, open the main menu and select Contract Management > Contract Management Settings > Insurance Settings > Insurance Product Sequencer.

2. Double-click HomePolicy to open the sequencer configuration.

3. To create a new sequencer, from the list of sequencers click Insert. Fill in the following fields:

   • Context: Specify whether the sequencer should apply to Policies or Master Policies.

   • Is Valid: Select this option to activate the sequencer.

   • Name: Enter the name of the sequencer.

   • Product: Choose the insurance product where the sequencer will be used.

   • Sequencer Code: Provide the unique code assigned to the sequencer.

     You can adjust the context, rename the sequencer, or associate it with a different product as needed.

4. When all updates are complete, click Save and close.
