Security
In this day and age, security and data protection are important aspects that any enterprise undoubtedly puts high emphasis on. FintechOS pays attention to security and as such, has built the platform on four pillars of security:
PiIlar 1. Data Encryption
Data in transit and at rest is encrypted using the industry-standard AES-128 encryption algorithm. The SSL-secured communication between FintechOS and third-party systems is done using the symmetric encryption keys that are established during the authentication process.
PiIlar 2. Authentication
FintechOS provides you with strong authentication mechanisms:
- Microsoft AD authentication. The built-in integration with Microsoft Active Directory (AD) allows you to access FintechOS using your AD credentials.
- OpenID Connect Authentication provides user authentication and single sign-on (SSO) functionality.
- Multi-Factor Authentication helps safeguard access to data and applications while meeting user demand for a simple sign-in process. It delivers strong authentication via a range of verification options: phone calls, text messages, or mobile app notifications or verification codes and third-party OAuth tokens.
PiIlar 3. Authorization
In FintechOS, data authorization and ownership are given by security roles that enable you to provide granular access privileges to specific resources. You can manage complex scenarios of access privileges and the level of access.
Admin users are the ones who can define the organizational structure, create users and assign the security roles according to the business need-to-know, in line with their job responsibilities.
PiIlar 4. Data Audit
FintechOS provides you with comprehensive audit trails of what happened at any given time and who performed the action.
