Import Agents File

This section contains a list of file uploads that are made over time, named Import Agents Files. The following columns are displayed:

  • Created On: The time when the file was uploaded, linked to the createdOn attribute of the Agents_Import_Files entity.

  • User: The user who uploaded the file, linked to the userId attribute of the Agents_Import_Files entity.

  • Add File: The uploaded file.

The user can upload a new file by clicking the Insert (+) button on the top right corner.

After uploading the file, an info message is displayed, "Record inserted", and the Agents File list is updated.

The user can only upload an .xlsx file type. The file contains the following columns: First Name, Last Name, Reference Number and Email. If the user uploads any other file format, the following message is displayed: "We accept only .xlsx file types".

If there are any columns missing from the file, the following message is displayed: "The file cannot be imported! One or more columns are missing.".

If there are any cell values missing, the following message is displayed: "The file cannot be imported! One or more values are missing.".

If the user double clicks a certain record from the list of file uploads, they will be directed to the grid where the list of agents is displayed. The system only displays the agents which are included in the specific file from that record.

If the user accesses the list of agents from the Agency module, Agents subsection, all the agents are displayed in the list, not only the ones included in the above file. The agent reference number is used as a decisional attribute.
